Dr. Joe B. Lindberg, DMD
It feels good to be back home! I grew up just north of Star Prairie on the Apple River where my older sister, Jenna, and I attended Amery for school. I played all kinds of sports growing up, but hockey was my passion since I was six! I still play every Sunday evening in Somerset. My working career began at the young age of 14 running a wheel barrow and shovel at Lake Kountry Landscaping during high school which eventually evolved into staining and restoring wooden decks, selling building materials, and driving semis at Menards during college. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where I majored in Chemistry and Business and I was lucky enough to work as a chemistry teaching assistant as well as a wet chemist synthesizing poly-peptides for some research projects during the summers. My journey to dental school began across the road at CVTC where we shadows dental students and residents on their externships. I managed to do well on the DAT exam and was invited to several schools across the country to interview at their dental programs. I ended up choosing Boston, Massachusetts studying at Boston University School of Dental Medicine because it reminded me of my time at Eau Claire and I was also ready for an experience outside of the Midwest. I spent 6 years in Boston with 2 years working alongside several seasoned dentists and multiple specialists in a large group practice in the heart of Boston. However, the opportunity arose to come back home take over the reins of a practice of my own and begin a new chapter in my dental career. I am thrilled to being back home in Osceola where I live with my wife Meredith and our two rescue dogs, coconut and Lexi. I view it as a great privilege to be able to practice where I grew up as well as be close to family and friends once again not to mention the fishing isn’t too bad here.

Mary Beth E.
Mary Beth Eighmy graduated from Normandale College in 1996 and has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for the State of Wisconsin and Minnesota for 23 years. One of the things she loves about the Hygiene profession is the one on one contact she has with her patients but really after working in the community for so long she considers them friends. Another thing she loves about the Dental Hygiene profession is the link between oral health and overall health and feels that there is always more to learn to make our patients lives healthier.
Mary Beth has lived in St Croix Falls with her husband and three daughters for 23 years and loves hiking, fishing, playing guitar and singing, drinking way too much coffee, spending time with family, and gardening ( she has found that she is terrible gardening so she will just enjoy other peoples gardens from now on)
My career as a dental professional began after I graduated Grantsburg High School and moved to the Twin Cities to attend the Argosy University dental hygiene program. While in college, I worked at the front desk of a dental office in Eagan, Minnesota. I graduated from Argosy University in the spring of 2018. After graduating, I worked at an office in Lakeville, MN for 1 1/2 years as a registered dental hygienist.
I enjoy working with patients of all ages and commit to providing thorough but comfortable cleanings. I recently moved back to this area because I am getting married and want to be close to family. I was hired by Dr. Lindberg to join the Scenic River team and I am so excited to provide service in the area that I grew up in!
Alyssa started as a dental assistant in 2017 in the area she grew up in and for her dentist she grew up with. Alyssa later got married and moved to the St. Croix area.
She loves being a part of the Scenic River team and working with patients to achieve their dental goals!
In her spare time she enjoys everything outdoors, most of her days are spent at the lake or in the woods with her husband Sam and dog Gus.
